Center of Excellence (CoE) in VLSI Design has been functional in our department since 2019. In addition, our institution received approval for ChipIN access an initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India, through CDAC, Bengaluru.  It enables support for full suite of various industry standard EDA tools.

Aim: To train and facilitate students to get placed in core VLSI domain jobs.   

 

Objectives:         

1. Skill Development: To train the students in VLSI design tools, methodologies, and fabrication processes towards promising career opportunities in semiconductor industry.

2. Industry Collaboration: To partner with semiconductor companies in state-of-art technologies and facilitate the students for Internship / Mini / Major Project execution.

3. Research and Innovation: To advance cutting-edge research in VLSI design and related domains to promote innovation
