Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been organizing "TechExpo", a National level Hardware and Software project competition for the last 5 Years. The event is organized at the end of the second semester every academic year. All the Fourth Year students of B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering) are eligible to participate in this event.

Major Projects of IV Year students are put into display for evaluation of the same by subject experts from outside.

Students can participate either in Hardware category or Software category depending upon the project they have done in the second semester. A cash prize of Rs. 2,500/- for the I Prize, Rs. 1,500/- for the II Prize and Rs. 1,000/- for the III Prize will be awarded. In each of the Hardware and Software categories, I, II and III Prizes are awarded.
