ABOUT:

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), GCET has established CoE in IoT and ES in August 2019. This is headed by Prof. K. Somasekhara Rao of ECE department. The faculty members associated with this are Mrs. G. Sreelakshmi Assoc. Prof., Mrs. M. Laxmi Assoc. Prof., Mrs. B. Sreelatha Assoc. Prof., Mrs. M. Uma Rani Asst. Prof., Mr. Ch. Sandeep Asst. Prof., Mr. M. Anand Asst. Prof., Mr. P. Chandra Prakash Reddy and Mrs. A.R.L. Padmaja Assitant Professor.

GOALS:       

  1. To train the students with the abilities such as analytical, practical and programming skills with innovative thoughts to explore and experience new technologies.

  2. To provide interaction between software and hardware in an IoT device and thereby facilitating the students to be creative through constant interaction with current technology to meet the industry requirements which in turn reflects in their career growth.

  3. To develop a comprehensive approach towards building economical Embedded IoT projects and make the students to solve real-time problems.

  4. To encourage the research activities among the students as well as faculty and make them to meet challenges of modern society with up to date technical knowledge.

The CoE in IoT and ES has a Laboratory with the fallowing facilities.
