Student Centric Learning

Here are some examples of Student-centric Methods used by teachers:

  1. Flipped Classroom: In this approach, traditional teaching methods are inverted. Students learn the basic concepts at home through online lectures or readings, and then engage in activities, discussions, and problem-solving exercises during class time.

  2. Project-Based Learning (PBL): PBL involves students working on extended, hands-on projects that require them to investigate and solve real-world problems. This method encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

  3. Gamification: Incorporating elements of games into the learning process can make lessons more engaging and motivating for students. This can involve using educational games, creating quests or challenges, and incorporating rewards and competition.

  4. Socratic Seminars: This method fosters critical thinking and discussion skills by having students engage in dialogue with each other under the guidance of a facilitator. Students are encouraged to ask open-ended questions, defend their ideas, and challenge each other’s viewpoints.

  5. Experiential Learning: Experiential learning immerses students in real-world experiences that are relevant to their studies, such as field trips, internships, and service-learning projects. This approach helps students apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations and develop valuable skills.

  6. Peer Teaching: Encouraging students to teach concepts to their peers can deepen their understanding of the material and improve communication and collaboration skills. This can be done through activities such as peer tutoring, group presentations, and collaborative projects.

  7. Project Based/ Product Based Learning:

  8. Conduct of Quizzes:

  9. Collaborative Learning:

  12. Hackathons, ProjectExpo, .
